Summary

CVE-2023-45844 is a vulnerability affecting Android devices in Kiosk mode. It enables a low-privileged user, when the device is locked, to install unauthorized Android applications. These applications can subsequently gain access to critical device settings, including power management and potentially even secure settings through ADB debug. This poses a significant security risk, allowing unauthorized users to manipulate device functions and potentially compromise sensitive data.
