Summary

CVE-2023-45820 is a vulnerability affecting Directus, a real-time API and App dashboard for managing SQL database content. In vulnerable installations with websockets enabled, the websocket server can be crashed by receiving an invalid frame. This issue could allow a malicious user to disrupt Directus services. Users are strongly encouraged to upgrade to version 10.6.2 to address this vulnerability. Alternatively, those unable to upgrade should consider disabling websockets to mitigate the risk.
