Summary

CVE-2023-45802 is a vulnerability affecting HTTP/2 streams where memory resources are not immediately reclaimed after a stream reset (RST frame) by a client. This can result in a growing memory footprint that may cause the process to run out of memory before the connection closes. The issue was discovered during testing of CVE-2023-44487, and while the probability of occurrence during normal use is low, users are advised to upgrade to version 2.4.58 to address this issue and prevent potential memory exhaustion.
