Summary
CVE-2023-45776 is a newly discovered vulnerability affecting the CreateAudioBroadcast function in broadcaster.cc. This issue stems from a missing bounds check, which creates an opportunity for an out-of-bounds write. The consequence of this vulnerability is a local privilege escalation, enabling an attacker to elevate their access levels without needing any additional execution privileges. Notably, user interaction is not required for an attacker to successfully exploit this vulnerability.
