Summary

CVE-2023-45769 is a newly discovered cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability that affects versions 2.1.2 and below of the Alex Raven WP Report Post plugin. An attacker can exploit this unauthenticated XSS flaw to inject malicious scripts into a victim's web browser during a report generation request. Successful exploitation could lead to session hijacking, data theft, or other unintended actions on the affected website. Users are strongly advised to update their plugin to the latest version as soon as possible to mitigate this risk.
