Summary

CVE-2023-4568 is a vulnerability affecting PaperCut NG, a print management solution. The issue allows for unauthenticated XMLRPC commands to be executed by default. This means that an attacker can exploit this vulnerability to run arbitrary commands on an affected system, potentially leading to serious data breaches or system compromise. Versions 22.0.12 and below are confirmed to be vulnerable, and later versions may also be at risk due to the absence of a vendor-supplied patch. It is strongly recommended that users of PaperCut NG upgrade to a patched version as soon as possible to mitigate this risk.
