Summary

CVE-2023-45677 is a vulnerability affecting the stb_vorbis library, which is used for processing Ogg Vorbis files. The issue arises when decoding a specially crafted file, leading to an out-of-bounds write. The root cause is a programming error where the length `len` is used as an index for memory writes, even if it is a negative number or has overflowed. This vulnerability may result in arbitrary code execution.
