Summary

CVE-2023-45662 is a vulnerability affecting the stb_image library, which is used for processing images. When the `stbi_set_flip_vertically_on_load` option is enabled and the `req_comp` parameter does not match the actual number of components per pixel, the library attempts to flip the image vertically. This can lead to an out-of-bounds read issue, as the calculation for `bytes_per_row` uses an incorrect value for `bytes_per_pixel`, which does not match the actual dimensions of the image array. A maliciously crafted image file can exploit this vulnerability to read memory outside of its intended boundaries.
