Summary

CVE-2023-45601 is a newly identified vulnerability affecting various versions of Parasolid (V35.0, V35.1, V36.0) and Tecnomatix Plant Simulation (V2201, V2302). These applications contain a stack overflow vulnerability when processing maliciously crafted IGS files. An attacker can exploit this weakness to execute code in the context of the current process. The affected versions are all those prior to V35.0.262, V35.1.250, V36.0.169, V2201.0009, and V2302.0003. (ZDI-CAN-21290)
