Summary

CVE-2023-45471 is a stored XSS vulnerability affecting QAD Search Server versions up to 1.0.0.315. This issue arises from insufficient checks on indexes, enabling unauthenticated attackers to create new malicious indices. By injecting a web script into the index name, the attacker can execute their code whenever a user accesses the search page, potentially leading to account takeovers or data theft.
