Summary

CVE-2023-4535 is a newly discovered out-of-bounds read vulnerability affecting OpenSC packages in the MyEID driver. This issue arises during symmetric key encryption processing. The exploitation of this vulnerability necessitates an attacker to physically access the computer, along with a crafted USB device or smart card. By manipulating APDU responses, an attacker can potentially gain unauthorized access to sensitive data, resulting in a significant security risk for affected systems.
