Summary

CVE-2023-45280 is a vulnerability affecting Yamcs version 5.8.6. This issue enables Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks. The vulnerability is linked to the use of Buckets as the primary storage mechanism in Yamcs. Malicious users can upload HTML files containing arbitrary JavaScript code, which can then be executed in the user's browser when they open the file.
