Summary
CVE-2023-45223 is a vulnerability affecting Mattermost, an open-source team collaboration platform. The issue lies in the Boards feature where certain endpoints do not adequately validate the "Show Full Name" option. Consequently, a member can bypass the option's disablement and obtain another user's full name. This vulnerability could lead to privacy concerns as users may not intend for their full names to be visible to everyone in the platform.
