Summary

CVE-2023-45165 is a newly identified vulnerability affecting IBM AIX 7.2 and 7.3 operating systems. This issue permits a local, non-privileged user to trigger a denial of service (DoS) condition on the system through exploitation of a flaw in the AIX SMB client. IBM's X-Force team has assigned the ID 267963 to this issue.
