Summary

CVE-2023-45163 is a vulnerability affecting the 1E-Exchange-CommandLinePing instruction in the Network product pack for 1E Exchange. This instruction, which runs only on Windows clients, fails to properly validate user input, resulting in a code execution vulnerability. A maliciously crafted input can lead to arbitrary code execution with SYSTEM permissions. To mitigate the risk, users should download and install the updated Network product pack from the 1E Exchange and update the 1E-Exchange-CommandLinePing instruction to version 18.1.
