Summary

CVE-2023-45161 is a vulnerability affecting the 1E-Exchange-URLResponseTime instruction in the Network product pack on the 1E Exchange. This instruction, which runs on Windows clients, fails to adequately validate URL parameters, leading to an arbitrary code execution vulnerability with SYSTEM permissions. Attackers can exploit this flaw by crafting malicious URLs. Users are advised to download and install the updated Network product pack from the 1E Exchange, which includes a v20.1 version of the instruction with the necessary security enhancements.
