Summary

CVE-2023-45160 is a vulnerability in the 1E Client that allows an ordinary user to manipulate downloaded instruction resource files. By replacing a runtime-created script file with a malicious one, an attacker could execute harmful code. The vulnerability has been addressed in patch Q23094 for Windows clients and in updated versions of the Mac Client (v8.1.2.62) from the 1E Support site. Users with Mac Client versions higher than v8.1 should upgrade to v23.11 to mitigate this risk.
