Summary
CVE-2023-45146 is a critical vulnerability affecting the XXL-RPC framework, which allows for the creation of high-performance, distributed RPC servers using Netty and Hessian serialization. This issue permits attackers to supply malicious serialized objects that, once deserialized, coerce the server into executing arbitrary code. This remote code execution vulnerability can potentially be exploited to seize control of the machine running the affected server. Unfortunately, a fix for this issue has yet to be implemented.
