Summary
CVE-2023-45043 is a buffer copy vulnerability that affects several versions of QNAP operating systems. This issue arises when input size is not properly checked before copying, allowing authenticated administrators to potentially execute code via a network. The vulnerability has been addressed in QTS 5.1.4.2596 build 20231128 and later, as well as in QuTS hero h5.1.4.2596 build 20231128 and later.
