Summary

CVE-2023-45042 is a buffer copy vulnerability that affects several versions of QNAP operating systems. This issue allows authenticated administrators to execute code over a network by copying input without checking its size. The vulnerability has been addressed in QTS 5.1.4.2596 build 20231128 and later, as well as in QuTS hero h5.1.4.2596 build 20231128 and later.
