Summary

CVE-2023-45025 is a newly discovered OS command injection vulnerability that affects several QNAP operating system versions. This issue allows users to potentially execute commands via a network connection, posing a significant security risk. QNAP has released patches for this vulnerability in QTS 5.1.4.2596 and later, QTS 4.5.4.2627 and later, QuTS hero h5.1.4.2596 and later, and QuTS hero h4.5.4.2626 and later, as well as QuTScloud c5.1.5.2651 and later. It is strongly recommended that users install these updates as soon as possible to mitigate the risk of exploitation.
