Summary

CVE-2023-45011 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting the WP Power Stats plugin developed by Igor Buyanov. Versions 2.2.3 and below of the plugin are susceptible to this issue. A successful exploit could allow an attacker to execute unintended actions on behalf of a user, potentially leading to data modification or unauthorized access. The CSRF vulnerability arises due to insufficient input validation and authorization checks, granting attackers the ability to craft malicious requests that can be executed when a user visits a specially crafted website. It is highly recommended that users upgrade to the latest version of the plugin to mitigate this risk.
