Summary

CVE-2023-44974 is a critical vulnerability affecting the Emlog Pro v2.2.0 blog platform. The issue lies in the /admin/plugin.php component, where an arbitrary file upload function exists. Malicious actors can exploit this flaw by uploading a specially crafted PHP file, thus gaining the ability to execute arbitrary code. This vulnerability poses a significant risk, as successful exploitation could lead to server compromise and potential data theft or system damage.
