Summary

CVE-2023-44835 is a newly identified buffer overflow vulnerability affecting the D-Link DIR-823G A1V1.0.2B05 firmware. The issue lies in the SetParentsControlInfo function where the Mac parameter is processed, allowing a maliciously crafted input to trigger a buffer overflow. Consequentially, attackers can exploit this vulnerability to induce a Denial of Service (DoS) condition.
