Summary
CVE-2023-4479 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting M-Files Web versions prior to 23.8. An attacker can exploit this issue by injecting malicious scripts into HTML documents stored in M-Files. Upon accessing the affected document, unsuspecting users' browsers will execute the malicious code, potentially leading to data theft, session hijacking, or other forms of unauthorized access within a limited time frame.
