Summary

CVE-2023-4460 is a vulnerability affecting the Uploading SVG, WEBP and ICO files plugin in WordPress. Before version 1.2.1, this plugin failed to sanitize uploaded SVG files, creating an opportunity for attackers with as little as an Author role to inject malicious SVG content. Successful exploitation could result in Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks on unsuspecting website visitors. It is recommended that users update their plugin to the latest version to mitigate this risk.
