Summary

CVE-2023-44484 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Online Blood Donation Management System v1.0. The 'firstName' parameter in the users/register.php resource is directly copied into the users/member.php document, causing any user input to be echoed as plain text between HTML tags. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by injecting malicious scripts into the 'firstName' field during user registration, resulting in unintended execution of code on the users' browsers when they view their member profile. This issue poses a significant risk to user privacy and security.
