Summary

CVE-2023-44475 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting versions 2.0.9 and below of the Michael Simpson Add Shortcodes Actions And Filters plugin. This issue can be exploited by malicious actors to perform unintended actions on behalf of an authenticated user. The attacker can create a specially crafted request that tricks the user into making unintended actions, such as modifying content or even executing malicious code. The vulnerability poses a significant risk to users of the affected plugin and requires immediate attention to apply the available patch or update to a newer version.
