Summary

CVE-2023-44471 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting version 2.1.10 and below of the Bernhard Kau Backend Localization plugin. A CSRF attack forces an unsuspecting user to perform unintended actions on a web application in their own browsing session. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by crafting a malicious request that, when executed by the victim, could manipulate the plugin's settings. Successful exploitation could lead to unauthorized modifications or sensitive data exposure. Users are advised to upgrade to the latest version of the plugin to mitigate this risk.
