Summary

CVE-2023-44366 is a critical out-of-bounds write vulnerability affecting Adobe Acrobat Reader versions 23.006.20360 and 20.005.30524 (and earlier). This issue enables an attacker to execute arbitrary code in the context of the current user, by writing beyond the allocated memory of the targeted software. Successful exploitation requires user interaction, as the victim must open a maliciously crafted file to trigger the vulnerability.
