Summary

CVE-2023-44357 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting Adobe Acrobat Reader versions 23.006.20360 and earlier, as well as 20.005.30524 and earlier. This issue represents an out-of-bounds read vulnerability, which can result in the exposure of sensitive memory. Malicious actors could potentially exploit this weakness to bypass mitigation techniques such as Address Space Layout Randomization (ASLR). To leverage this vulnerability, an attacker necessitates user interaction, requiring the victim to open a specially crafted file.
