Summary

CVE-2023-44356 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting Adobe Acrobat Reader versions 23.006.20360 and earlier, as well as 20.005.30524 and earlier. This out-of-bounds read issue enables an attacker to access sensitive memory, potentially leading to the bypassing of mitigations like Address Space Layout Randomization (ASLR). To exploit this vulnerability, an attacker requires user interaction, meaning the target must open a specially crafted malicious file.
