Summary

CVE-2023-44276 is a new vulnerability affecting OPNsense, an open-source firewall software. This issue permits Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks against the Lobby Dashboard through manipulation of the sequence parameter in the index.php file. Successful exploitation could lead to unauthorized access to user data or the ability to execute malicious code in the context of the affected user. OPNsense users are advised to upgrade to version 23.7.5 as soon as possible to mitigate this risk. Failure to address this vulnerability could result in serious security consequences.
