Summary
CVE-2023-44263 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting version 2.2 and below of the Riyaz Social Metrics plugin for auth (admin+) levels. An attacker can inject malicious scripts into a user's website, potentially stealing sensitive data or taking control of the affected site when a user visits a specially crafted link. This issue poses a serious threat to websites using the vulnerable plugin and should be addressed immediately by updating to the latest version or applying a patch provided by the vendor.
