Summary

CVE-2023-44257 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting versions 1.7.6 and below of the Hometory Mang Board WP plugin. This issue allows an attacker to submit malicious requests on behalf of a user after they have authenticated and are still active on the site. An attacker could manipulate user actions, such as making unintended changes to content or sensitive data, or gaining unauthorized access. To mitigate this risk, users should update their plugin to the latest version and ensure their WordPress installation has proper CSRF protection implemented.
