Summary

CVE-2023-44243 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting versions 1.2.1 and below of the Dylan Blokhuis Instant CSS plugin. This issue allows an attacker to force a user into performing unintended actions on a web application, such as modifying their account settings or making unauthorized transactions. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by crafting a malicious request that appears to originate from a trusted source, which the user would unknowingly execute. To protect against CSRF attacks, developers should implement appropriate security measures such as CSRF tokens or HTTP only cookies.
