Summary

CVE-2023-4424 is a vulnerability affecting Zephyr OS, a popular open-source operating system for Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) devices. Malicious BLE devices can exploit this issue by sending malformed advertising packets, causing a buffer overflow. This vulnerability can result in a Denial of Service (DoS) attack, and potentially lead to Remote Code Execution (RCE) on the victim BLE device. An attacker could leverage this flaw to take control of the device or disrupt its functionality.
