Summary

CVE-2023-44237 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting the Moriyan Jay WP Site Protector plugin versions 2.0 and below. Hackers can exploit this flaw to execute malicious actions on behalf of a victim, who must have previously authenticated and stayed active on the targeted site. The attacker can manipulate the victim's session to perform unauthorized actions, such as changing passwords, installing malware, or deleting data. Users are advised to update to the latest plugin version as soon as possible to mitigate this risk.
