Summary

CVE-2023-44124 is a vulnerability affecting the "com.lge.gametools.gamerecorder" app in the "com/lge/gametools/gamerecorder/settings/ProfilePreferenceFragment.java" file. The issue lies in the app's handling of implicit intents, which can be intercepted by third-party apps installed on the same device. These intercepted intents can return arbitrary data, which is then passed to the "onActivityResult()" method. Consequentially, the Screen recording app saves contents of arbitrary URIs to a world-readable SD card storage, allowing unauthorized access to sensitive files with system privilege.
