Summary

CVE-2023-44121 is a vulnerability affecting LG ThinQ Service (com.lge.lms2) on LG devices. The issue lies in the NotificationManager.java file within the "com/lge/lms/things/ui/notification" package. It allows a third-party app to exploit an intent redirection, granting it access to arbitrary not exported activities of all installed apps on the device. Since LG ThinQ Service is a system app with the android:sharedUserId="android.uid.system" setting, this vulnerability poses a significant danger, enabling the malicious app to gain unauthorized access to the functionalities of other apps.
