CVE-2023-44087

Summary

CVE-2023-44087 is a newly identified vulnerability affecting Tecnomatix Plant Simulation V2201 (all versions prior to V2201.0009) and Tecnomatix Plant Simulation V2302 (all versions prior to V2302.0003). The issue lies in the parsing of specially crafted SPP files, which leads to an out-of-bounds read past the end of an allocated structure. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the current process.
