Summary

CVE-2023-43906 is a newly identified vulnerability affecting Xolo CMS version 0.11. This issue permits an attacker to inject malicious scripts into a webpage viewed by other users, through a reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) attack. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by crafting a malicious URL that, when clicked by an unsuspecting user, executes the attacker's code in the user's web browser. Successful exploitation can lead to data theft, account takeover, or even the installation of malware. Users of Xolo CMS version 0.11 are strongly advised to update to a patched version immediately to mitigate this risk.
