Summary

CVE-2023-43886 is a recently identified buffer overflow vulnerability affecting the HTTP server component of Tenda RX9 Pro version 22.03.02.20. This issue allows authenticated attackers to overwrite memory, potentially leading to arbitrary code execution or system crashes. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending specially crafted HTTP requests to the affected device. Successful exploitation could result in serious consequences, including data theft, unauthorized access, and denial of service. Users are strongly advised to update their Tenda RX9 Pro devices to the latest available firmware to mitigate this risk.
