Summary
CVE-2023-43876 is a newly discovered Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting October CMS version 3.4.16. This issue allows an attacker to inject malicious web scripts into the dbhost field during installation, potentially leading to unauthorized access or data theft. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could enable an attacker to steal sensitive user information or take control of user sessions.
