Summary

CVE-2023-43803 is a vulnerability affecting the Arduino Create Agent, a package used for managing Arduino development. The issue lies in the `/v2/pkgs/tools/installed` endpoint and its handling of user-supplied plugin names. An attacker with the ability to make HTTP requests to the localhost interface or bypass the CORS configuration can delete arbitrary files or folders of the affected user through a crafted HTTP POST request. This vulnerability has been addressed in version 1.3.3 and users are strongly urged to upgrade as no workarounds are currently available.
