Summary

CVE-2023-43802 is a vulnerability affecting the Arduino Create Agent, a package used for managing Arduino development. The `/upload` endpoint, which handles requests with the `filename` parameter, is the source of the issue. An attacker with the ability to execute HTTP requests to the localhost interface or bypass CORS configuration can escalate their privileges to those of the Arduino Create Agent service user. The vulnerability has been resolved in version 1.3.3, and users are urged to upgrade as soon as possible. There is currently no known workaround for this issue.
