Summary

CVE-2023-43743 is a SQL injection vulnerability affecting multiple Zultys IP phone system models, including MX-SE, MX-SE II, MX-E, MX-Virtual, MX250, and MX30. This issue arises due to insufficient input validation on the filter parameter of requests to the /newapi/ endpoint in the Zultys MX web interface. An authenticated attacker can exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary SQL queries on the backend database, potentially leading to unauthorized access, data theft, or system compromise. Organizations using these affected Zultys IP phone systems are advised to apply the relevant patches (17.0.10 patch 17161 for version 17.0 and 16.04 patch 16109 for version 16.04) as soon as possible to mitigate this risk.
