Summary

CVE-2023-43701 is a vulnerability affecting Apache Superset versions prior to 2.1.2. An authenticated attacker can exploit improper payload validation and an inappropriate REST API response type to inject malicious code into Chart's metadata. This code can be executed if a user accesses a specific deprecated API endpoint. This issue poses a serious security risk, and it is strongly advised that users upgrade to version 2.1.2 to mitigate this vulnerability.
