Summary
CVE-2023-4366 is a medium severity vulnerability affecting Google Chrome versions prior to 116.0.5845.96. An attacker could exploit this use-after-free issue in Extensions to corrupt the heap memory. Installing a maliciously crafted extension and luring a user to visit a specially designed HTML page would enable the attacker to potentially execute code with the privileges of the extension.
