Summary

CVE-2023-43644 affects the Sing-box open source proxy system, where specially crafted requests can lead to an authentication bypass. This vulnerability impacts all SOCKS5 inbounds with user authentication and allows unauthorized access. Sing-box users are urged to upgrade to version 1.4.4 or 1.5.0-rc.4 for security. Those unable to upgrade should restrict SOCKS5 inbound exposure to secure environments.
